Fearless. Hard Working. Respected.

Experience Matters

Some people talk about getting things done. I actually get things done. I have the education and experience that Coos County needs in a leader. I am not afraid to stand up to Portland and Salem for the things that matter in rural Oregon.

Melissa Cribbins has spent the last ten years making Coos County a great place to live, work, and raise a family.

As your Coos County Commissioner, I have worked tirelessly to make our county a great place to live, work, and raise your family. I care about the issues that matter to you: housing, improving healthcare access, keeping your taxes low, and keeping your home and family safe.

About Melissa

As your county commissioner, I have worked tirelessly to attract new businesses to Coos County and encourage our existing businesses to grow and stay.  I have fought for and won funding to keep our businesses alive and vital.

Like many of you, I grew up in Coos County.  I graduated from Coquille High School. I have been lucky enough to have a career and raise my family here, but it is tough for my children to find good jobs in this area. We need good jobs so our children and grandchildren can make their homes here, if they choose to.

I understand the challenges we are facing. Housing is hard to find. Gas prices are high. The price of everything is going up.

As an active and engaged County Commissioner, respected on a state and national level, I ensure that your concerns are heard at every level of government. I represent ALL of my constituents and their concerns, and I have worked to make sure that your voice is heard in the places where decisions are made.
